Theora Smart Fall Detection

Powered by Theora Rhythms™

Theora has added to the sophistication of its advanced AI and neural networking technology with its game-changing Smart Fall Detection service. Using the Theora Rhythms “always on, always learning” technology, Theora can not only detect but start to predict harmful falls. And, our sophisticated technology has showed to reduce false/positive readings on falls by more than 90%.

Theora Rhythms is the first AI / Neural Network platform for highly accurate, always on, always learning smart fall detection

When a fall is detected, the Theora Connect sends the data to our neural network, Theora Rhythms™. Our precise technology can also tell the difference between a “hard” and “soft” fall.

Theora Rhythms then looks at what happened before, during, and after the fall to determine if it is truly a fall, or if it is a false positive.

If it’s determined to be a real fall, the wearer is asked to confirm or deny the fall.

If the wearer does not respond, or confirms their fall, an emergency call is sent to the primary caregiver along with an alert to all other contacts.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is your Smart Fall Detection app better than other smart fall detection apps on my current smartwatch or offered by others?

Our AI and neural networking technology is constantly learning about the wearer’s activity patterns other factors so we can start to predict or detect an upcoming fall and alert the wearer and their family caregiver to potential increased risk. Most of our competitors don’t have that detailed difference and can only detect once a fall has happened. Also, we also have an industry-leading >95% accurate false/positive meaning we can tell hard and soft falls apart for better accuracy that most other apps cannot. Contact us here

How does this Smart Fall Detection app and Theora Rhythms technology help reduce my professional caregiver staff burnout rates that you claim?

By using Theora Care as a 24/7 virtual caregiving assistant, your staff can be instantly updated on a resident or patient status and know that even with a heavy caseload of patients to care for, they can address emergencies more quickly and improve quality of care which adds value to their service and the thanks of grateful families.

Does my mom need this if she is already in an assisted living community where they watch over her pretty well?

While the staff in memory care are very vigilant about your loved one’s care, they cannot be with them 24/7. In fact, studies show 45-50% of memory care residents fall each year. The staff needs help which is where Theora Care technology comes in – “always on, always learning and listening.” The memory care staff also want to encourage your loved one to participate in outings and activities. By having your mom wear her Theora Connect watch, it helps gives the professional caregiving staff more data to predict and hopefully prevent falls and helps them respond immediately if your mom has a soft or hard fall, and locate her quickly if she wanders from the community or during an outing.
