Description
This stylish watch packs a punch – it’s a state-of-the-art GPS tracking watch with AI-powered Smart Fall Detection™, and automatic 2-way voice communications with the wearer (no button pushing required). Theora Connect™ provides location information, direct communications, enhanced peace of mind for caregivers, and independence for their care recipients. Combined with the Theora Link Pro™ Smartphone App for caregivers (smartphone not included), the Theora Connect is a smartwatch that comes already activated with apps for activity tracking, weather, and GPS location tracking, all packed into an attractive wearable watch. Theora Connect provides AI/Neural Network-driven, highly accurate, Smart Fall Detection™ to minimize false positives while providing enhanced peace of mind for caregivers and independence for their care recipients. Smart Fall Detection is an optional monthly subscription that can be added or removed at any time by calling our support team at (512)-371-6164.
If a fall is detected by the neural network, Theora Connect will verbally ask the wearer if they have fallen. If they say yes or do not respond, the watch will start a countdown to call the primary caregiver, and will then call the caregiver. Once the caregiver is called, they can talk directly with the wearer through our auto-answer feature. The built-in GPS will also show their location. If they have not fallen or are not hurt, they can answer “no” during the watch’s countdown, and the watch will not call for help.
In the event of a wandering incident, the Theora Connect watch sends a notification to the Theora Link Pro application on the caregiver(s) smart phone alerting them that the wearer has left a “Safe-Zone”. At this time, the caregiver can easily track the wearer using the built-in GPS and call the wearer if needed. Direct calls do not require the care recipient to answer the call; the wearable automatically connects the call. The watch will also send an alert when the wearer has returned to the “Safe Zone”. Note: the watch updates its location every 15 minutes, not in real time, so the safe zone alerts happen when the watch updates. You may experience a slight delay before you receive your Safe Zone alert. In the event of an emergency, you can have the watch update its location every 3 minutes and use the Quik Connect feature to auto-answer your call on the watch so you can communicate with your loved one directly in real time.
People who wear Theora Connect smartwatches can stay active and independent, enjoying their usual activities, with the added reassurance of knowing they are being looked after remotely by their care partner. The care partner can also be at ease by having access to their loved one through the application at any time.
