One of my favorite things to do is get out and support worthy organizations. Vivalon in California recently had a fantastic Falls Prevention Awareness Week. All the materials (and more) are available. This multi-day event walked participants through what happens when you fall from a medical, EMS, and hospital point of view, followed by two days of fall risk assessment and fall prevention. Then, a day focused on technology for fall detection and fall risk prevention. I was honored to be part of the tech panel.
